Day 7: Second Day in Zuberec

The past few days have been crazy busy and it hardly seems that during the time we are awake we're not doing something exciting. Now that we are in Zuberec, it is a completely different experience than the city. In the morning we awoke very early and packed a picnic using food we had bought from the town country store. We drove for a while from our hotel, the Milka Pension until we reached our destination of the Rohace lakes. The lakes are so beautiful, we couldn't believe it. We were bundled up because it was very cold outside, but we wanted to stay outside and eat our lunch anyways. Next we visited the Rohace waterfall which is hard to get to becuase it requires a difficult hike in the Rohace mountain. It was well worth it because the view was amazing. We were surprised that no one was around. When we were finaly done enjoying the view it was getting late, and it was about time for dinner. Emily Holop drove us home where we changed into our night clothes, and went into town. We ate dinner at the Penzion Timea, where the food is all homemade and delicious. Afterwards we shopped a little in the cute town around the restaurant. By now, Emily Holop had spent a lot of money on shopping and had very little to spend, but this didn't stop her from buying a dress. Emily Kidd did not like spending a lot of her money, but she was feeling a little daring and bought jeans, a t-shirt, a sweater, and boots. I also bought a pair of suede boots. In one of the stores we met a man who lived in the United States and spoke English. He told us of how he had gone to Slovakia on a week-long trip, just like us, and had instantly fallen in love with it.
